The Club is largely self-financing with all players paying an amount in subs each
week or month, depending upon the views of each team. However, most of the teams
have been fortunate enough to have the support of a local business to help out with
the many and numerous expenses involved in running a youth football team. It seems
to get more expensive each year and the support of these local businesses is a lifeline
for the Club and its players. As well as having the knowledge that you are giving
young players an opportunity to play organised football in a safe environment, you
also have recognition of your business on the team shirts, our web site and in the
local press.
There is no set amount required to sponsor a team although a sum of £300 is commonly
donated, which is used extremely efficiently to purchase equipment and the like.
As a Club we have numerous contacts and the Club Committee co-ordinates purchases
