Monkton J.F.C. 2009 Tournament dates confirmed!!
Our successful annual tournament will again be held at the end of May 2009 at Monkton Stadium, Jarrow, South Tyneside. The U7’s and U8’s will play on Saturday 30 May 2009. The U9’s and U10’s will play on Sunday 31 May 2009. Be sure to reserve your place in one of the best tournaments in the North of England. Visit here for full details!
Monkton J.F.C. celebrate their 10th birthday!!
As part of our 10th birthday celebrations, we arranged a fantastic night of entertainment, with a unique footballing slant! The Club held a Sportsmen’s (and women’s!) evening at Pelaw Social Club on Friday 30 March 2007.
The guest of honour was John McGovern.
Thanks to all who contributed and attended this great night of entertainment to celebrate 10 years of MJFC.
Monkton J.F.C. Committee Meetings
The Committee meetings should be attended by all coaches or their representatives. Parents or carers of players are welcome to attend at Park Road Social Club, Jarrow. The dates of the next meetings in 2009 are 12 May, 14 June (this is the AGM). The meetings commence at 8:00 pm and last about an hour or so. See here for further information.

Easington Buzzards on penalties after a tight 0-
Further congratulations go to the boys who have won the U12 2nd Division with a 100% record to date, with two games to go. A quite magnificent achievement and well deserved for all of the hard work they have put in this season.
